After school art courses for 6 – 14 year olds

Pupils are taught how to produce successful and interesting art, using a variety of materials, processes and techniques through a series of practical workshops and development sessions. Experimentation is also encouraged and we work regularly in sketchbooks. Previous topics include Modigliani inspired self portraits in acrylic and mixed media Surrealist inspired paintings. Courses run for half an academic term.

NEXT TERM, WE WILL BE LOOKING AT THE ART OF KLIMT

Term starts on MONDAY 6th SEPTEMBER  2010 and will run for 7 weeks.

Portfolio preparation for Art Scholarships at 11 & 13+

Pupils are given detailed guidance, through a series of practical workshops on achieving a broad and accomplished portfolio that should help convince the Head of Art of your chosen school that your child is worthy of a scholarship at 11 and 13+.

Saturday Art School

Saturday art school is a popular weekend alternative to the afternoon and evening sessions during the week. We offer sessions at 10.30am or at 12.30pm

G.C.S.E. and A-Level Sketchbook development and Curriculum support

At GCSE and A-Level, the sketchbook is king! The PROCESS of creating art is just as important as the PRODUCT. We will guide students towards achieving that A* make-over for their work journals, by employing tried and tested systems that will allow examiners to tick all the boxes and put big smiles on the faces of pupils come results day! Pupils work in a variety of media. All materials supplied.
