DATES, FEES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
As an Artroom customer, you are an extremely valued part of the creative community we have built over the last 11 years of running art classes and workshops. Everyone is affected by the global outbreak of the Coronavirus and we want to play an effective role in protecting our pupil’s and those most vulnerable in our community.
With this in mind, we feel we have no other option than to stop all classes, with immediate effect and until further notice. This decision will be continuously reviewed and we will let you know when classes will resume again. (Picking up where we left off)
In more positive news, we are currently developing an online platform, so we can continue delivering content for children to participate at home. We will update you shortly with more details.

HOW TO PAY FOR A HOLIDAY WORKSHOP:
We do ask that all holiday workshops be paid in advance. However, please wait until your space has been confirmed by us before making payment.
Payment can be made by either BACS (see bank details below) cheque or cash. PLEASE NOTE: Artroom does not have PDQ machine on the premises for card payments.
When paying by cheque or cash, please drop the payment off at the classroom during our opening hours listed above.
Please make cheques payable to “Artroom Brighton limited”
If you are paying by BACS it is essential you put the name of the child you are paying for – along with the date they are attending – in the reference details of the transfer. Failure to do so may result in your child losing their space due to our inability to confirm your payment.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: if a pupil is unable to attend a holiday workshop, please let us know as soon as possible so we can replace them on the course. If a cancellation is made less than 24hours prior to the workshop, the fee is non-refundable, even if payment has yet to be made.
WHAT TO BRING TO A HOLIDAY WORKSHOP:
All art materials are provided by us and included in the price, so the only thing pupils need to bring is a packed lunch, drink and a snack for mid-morning break. We also provide paint t-shirts for pupils to wear but we do advise pupils not to wear clothing it would be too disastrous to get paint on, as accidents do still happen!

£33 per day (max. 24 pupils per class, snacks and lunch not included, payment in full to secure place)
Terms and Conditions
Your child’s place on an Artroom all-day workshop or after school course can be reserved by email, over the telephone or in person. It will be secure, once full payment has been received. If payment for a workshop has not been received, 24 hours prior to the commencement of the given workshop, then the place or places will be offered to another party.
Responsibility for the details of bookings and payment lies with the person making the initial booking. Places are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. If the Artroom workshop you require is fully booked, you will be placed on a waiting list. In the event of a space becoming available, Artroom will contact you. If for any reason, a participant withdraws from an Artroom workshop after being accepted, Artroom reserves the right to withhold the full course fee. This also applies to sickness.
All accounts must be paid in full in advance for the participant to attend an Artroom workshop. For the after school classes, payment must be received by the second week of term.
All personal property is the participants’ responsibility, unless loss or damage is proven to be due to Artroom’s negligence. Expensive and/or treasured items should not be brought to Artroom. Suitable clothing should always be worn as acrylic paints are difficult to remove from clothing.
Meals and Snacks
Participants are advised to bring their own water-based drinks and snacks to Artroom with their name clearly labelled. Please note that Artroom is a NUT-FREE ZONE and any nut based products brought into the premises will be confiscated and return to parents at the end of the day.
Artroom reserves the right to change course specifications wherever necessary. A full refund will be provided in the unlikely event of the course being cancelled.
All participants are covered by Public Liability Insurance whilst at Artroom, however Artroom cannot be held responsible for any act, omission or loss or damage unless proven to be caused by Artroom’s negligence. Our provider is Morton Michael and we are covered to teach up to 30 children. Our policy number is: PS000956
There will always be at least one Certified Appointed First Aider on each course. In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to participants in our care and if necessary, the emergency services will be called.
Arrival & Departure
Each participant will be registered in at the start of the day and signed out at the end of each session. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure they always comply with these procedures.
During Artroom courses, photographs may be taken of participants during course activities. These images may be used for publicity purposes in an image,on video, on our website, or in printed publications.
Artroom Equal Opportunities
We consider language, behaviour or action that is designed to be offensive or creates discrimination to any user of the Service or member of staff, unacceptable and will not be tolerated. If any behaviour at Artroom is considered innappropriate, the offending pupil or pupils will be given a clear warning. If the behaviour persists, the child or children will be seated at another table. If a pupil’s continues to ignore the teacher and is considered to be affecting the equilibrium of the whole class, then a parent will be called and the pupil asked to leave.
Enquiring about a course
If you have contacted us via the contact form and/or an email, we may retain your email address to contact you with future information on course dates and subjects. We will never share this information with any other company or third party.
Please advise Artroom at any stage via firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not wish to be included in our mailing list and/or if you would like your email address to be removed from our database.
When a new pupil is enrolled we ask every parent, guardian or carer to fill out an enrolment form. This is vital so that we have a contact telephone number in case of emergency. There is also the option of providing an email address. If this is used, we may retain your email details to contact you with future information on upcoming course dates and subjects as part of our regular newsletter which is sent out six times a year, each half-term.
We retain these forms for our records but never share any information contained within them with any other company or third party, nor do we share anything with independent marketing companies of any kind.
If your child ceases to attend Artroom and you wish for your enrolment form and details to be removed from our records, please inform us via email@example.com

As an after school and holiday club focusing on just one activity, we are exempt from OFSTED registration.
